Meet Tyler

I grew up in western New York near Niagara Falls, where long winters first pushed me toward photography. What began with an iPhone slowly became something more serious.
In 2018 I took my first backpacking trip of my life to El Chaltén. I stayed only a few days, but it changed everything. I returned each year, staying longer each time, until eventually moving here full time. I have now been based in Patagonia for several years.
Living in southern Argentina has allowed me to document the region across all seasons. My work focuses on the granite towers of Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy, the Southern Ice Field, and the people who move through this terrain. In recent years I have focused more on climbing photography and aerial drone work in remote environments.
I lead small group expeditions and collaborate with brands and publications on commercial and editorial projects. My work has been featured by National Geographic and Summit Journal, and I have worked with brands including Peak Design and Patagonia. A documentary I collaborated on with Sender Films releases later in 2026.
I still follow the Buffalo Bills closely.
